Pregnancy Symptoms: 10 Early Signs

Here are 10 early signs of pregnancy:

  1. Missed period. This is the most common sign of pregnancy. However, it is important to note that not all women experience a missed period when they are pregnant.
  2. Nausea and vomiting. Also known as morning sickness, nausea and vomiting can start as early as 4 weeks into pregnancy.
  3. Breast changes. Your breasts may become swollen, tender, and/or larger. You may also notice that your nipples are darker and more sensitive.
  4. Fatigue. You may feel more tired than usual, especially in the first trimester.
  5. Frequent urination. This is due to the increased blood flow to your kidneys.
  6. Food cravings or aversions. You may find yourself craving certain foods or being repulsed by others.
  7. Mood swings. It is common to experience mood swings during pregnancy, as your hormones are fluctuating.
  8. Spotting or light bleeding. This can happen around the time of implantation, which is when the fertilized egg attaches to the lining of your uterus.
  9. Backache. Your back may start to ache as your uterus grows.
  10. Constipation. This is due to the increased progesterone levels, which can slow down your digestive system.

It is important to note that not all women experience all of these symptoms. Some women may only experience a few, while others may experience none at all. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it is a good idea to take a pregnancy test.
